Even though our physical capabilities are becoming very limiting, we couldn't resist and expanded our breeding with a young female, the daughter of Matylda (Harricana), black and white Igraine. We call her Jiskra and it seems that she really has a "spark"! Another interesting thing about her is that she is genetically (congenital) tailless. She also has a nice, strong bone. We'll see what she grows into.

In 2024, our Matylda (Harricana) had a litter with the dog Yuma, the son of our old Kavka (Ulysée). Because Yuma is en excellent working male, and because there was an exceptionally nice puppy in the litter, I delayed selling it. Well, when one of our hunting guests brought a trophy mouflon to the yard and the little puppy started persistently reporting it, it was clear! So little Jiskra, named Benjo for her ringing voice, stayed with us! And she didn't disappoint! At 7 months of age I took her to look for a pheasant and she worked like an old experienced bitch. The crowning glory of her performance was when, on the way back, a rooster, which in my opinion was not a mark, got up from the path and flew to the other end of the field. The puppy, because what else was Benžo at that time, ran after him furiously and disappeared into the bushes. When she struggled back a moment later with the rooster in her mouth, tears welled up in my eyes!
So that's our Benžo!
